The Rites of Hajj (Kitab Al-Manasik Wa'l-Hajj)

Dawud :: Book 10 : Hadith 1894

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:

Shu'ayb ibn Abdullah said: I went round the Ka'bah along with Abdullah ibn Amr. When we came behind the Ka'bah I asked: Do you not seek refuge? He uttered the words: I seek refuge in Allah from the Hell-fire. He then went (farther) and touched the Black Stone, and stood between the corner (Black Stone) and the entrance of the Ka'bah. He then placed his breast, his face, his hands and his palms in this manner, and he spread them, and said: I saw the apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) doing like this.
