How to build Taqwa
Taqwa is an Islamic term which means fear of Allah, Who is the one, Who is alone and only power, Who creates the world, He has no children and no parents, He is alone. Taqwa is a way to become closer to Allah.
Importance of Taqwa:
Taqwa is important in Islam, because the person who adopts Taqwa in self will never choose the wrong path in life or never commit sin even by mistake because person knew that Allah is watching him everywhere. Taqwa always puts something different in every person. We can say that Taqwa is greatest blessing of Allah for his people.
How to develop taqwa in yourself?
For developing Taqwa in yourself we should remember that Allah is one superior power, we have to learn about Him, we have to follow the pillars of Islam, obey the sunnah of Prophet, remember the death often, and work to increase good deeds. Follow the Quran sayings in our life and make them the part of life.
Protective Barrier for Muslims:
It is known as a protective barrier in Islam for Muslims, we can conclude that if we want to be successful, and want to get Allah's blessings and pleasure then we should fear Allah and have to do the righteous deeds which are source of pleasing Allah Almighty. Taqwa acts as a barrier between the Muslims and the anger and displeasure of Allah. In Hadith Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) said: “Fear Allah because it is the collection of all goodness.”
Muttaqi always remember Allah:
It is a state of remembrance to remember Allah always and achieve his highest happiness at all times. Therefore, any such qualities of a person that will cause him to forget Allah are harmful to his Taqwa. Consequently, the more a believer is aware of, and the more vigilant he is in protecting himself from these evil practices that may cause him to forget about Allah, the better his Taqwa of knowing God is keeping our sense as to what please him or what displease him and ensuring that all our efforts bring him great pleasure and attain his highest happiness. Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
“O, you who believe! When you hold secret counsel, do it not for sin and wrong-doing, and disobedience towards the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) but do it for Al-Birr (righteousness) and Taqwa (virtues and piety), and fear Allah unto Whom you shall be gathered.” (Quran, 58:9)
In Holy Quran, Allah Almighty says: “And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him ease in his matter.” (Quran, 65:4).
At another place Allah Almighty says in the Holy Quran:
“O ye who believe! Fear God and be with those who are true (in word and deed).” (Quran, 9:119)
Rewards of Taqwa: Allah Almighty says in Holy Quran: “Have taqwa of Allah in order that you might succeed” (Quran, 3:200).
There is guidance for those who are Muttaqin (the people of taqwa) as Allah says in Quran: “guidance for those conscious of Allah” (Quran, 2:2).
