Islamic Quotes From Hadith (sayings of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him):
Ungrateful To Husbands
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Abbas:
…I also saw the Hell-fire and I had never seen such a horrible sight. I saw that most of the inhabitants were women." The people asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Why is it so?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Because of their ungratefulness." It was asked whether they are ungrateful to Allah. The Prophet said, "They are ungrateful to their companions of life (husbands) and ungrateful to good deeds. If you are benevolent to one of them throughout the life and if she sees anything (undesirable) in you, she will say, 'I have never had any good from you.' - Sahih al-Bukhari 1052
Superiority of Surat Al-Kahf
Narrated Al-Bara':
A man was reciting Surat Al-Kahf and his horse was tied with two ropes beside him. A cloud came down and spread over that man, and it kept on coming closer and closer to him till his horse started jumping (as if afraid of something). When it was morning, the man came to the Prophet, and told him of that experience. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That was As-Sakina (tranquility) which descended because of (the recitation of) the Qur'an. - Sahih al-Bukhari 5011
In another Hadith Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,
"(The following are) two words (sentences or utterances) that are very easy for the tongue to say, and very heavy in the balance (of reward), and most beloved to the Gracious Almighty (And they are): Subhan Allahi wa bi-hamdihi; Subhan Allahi-l-'Adhim," - Sahih al-Bukhari 6682
Do Not Hate One Another
The Prophet (ﷺ) said,
"Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!") - Sahih al-Bukhari 6064
Best Amongst You Are
According to hadith:
The Prophet (ﷺ) never used bad language neither a "Fahish nor a Mutafahish. He used to say "The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character. - Sahih al-Bukhari 3559
To Live Long Life
Allah's Apostle said,
"Whoever loves that he be granted more wealth and that his lease of life be prolonged then he should keep good relations with his Kith and kin." - Sahih al-Bukhari 5986
